Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO ADAPT TO THE NEW FEELS?

A: Kinda like a patch test, or wearing prescriptive glasses for the first time, the first week that you wear your new footbeds we highly recommend that you gradually increase the time you wear them by one to two hours per day to allow your feet, body and brain to adjust.

Q: ARE THE INSOLES VISIBLE?

A: Our sophisticated aesthetic is designed to blend seamlessly with the sole, whilst the slim dimensions fit directly under the foot and don't extend under the toes, making it the perfect partner for sandals and sling-backs.

Q: CAN I REUSE MY EB INSOLES?

A: Over and over again! They work kinda like a stick-on bra. Once you have gently removed the footbed from your shoe, lightly spray the under surface with water to make it go tacky again, leave it to dry for a few minutes, then place it into your shoe again.

Q: HOW DOES THE INSOLE STAY IN PLACE?

A: Our smart HEXAGEL technology acts like little suction cups under the ball of your foot, while our PU MEDIGEL securely adheres to all surfaces. When you need to change them into another shoe, gently peel the gel away from the sole, ideally from the heel end.

Q: DO I NEED TO STICK THEM IN?

A: If your shoe has a removable liner, we recommend that you keep the plastic backing on the innersole and place it under the shoe liner, starting at the heel. If your shoe liner isn’t removable and the sole is fabric, leave the plastic backing on the footbed and hold the insole in place at the heel while you put your foot on top. If the shoe sole is vinyl, plastic, leather or foam, you can remove the plastic backing and adhere the insole into the shoe, starting at the heel.

Q: HOW DO I POSITION THE INSOLES ACCURATELY?

A: When placing the footbeds in the shoe, start at the heel of the shoe and in a smooth manner follow the shape of the shoe through to the toe. The footbed should finish just behind the toes. Trial this position. If you feel like the arch or other supported areas need to be re-positioned, peel the footbed back out and start the process again moving it towards the desired areas. Note: the footbed can be placed up to 15mm forward.

Q: HOW DO I CARE FOR MY INSOLES?

A: Whilst removing the footbeds, please be careful not to stretch the gel too aggressively and gently edge away from the shoe. For a spring clean, simply remove the footbeds from the shoe, spray lightly with water and leave to dry fabric side down (not in direct sunlight).

Q: DO I NEED MULTIPLE PAIRS OF INSOLES?

A: We currently have two styles in our collection, EB STILETTO and EB FLATS. EB STILETTO is designed for any heeled shoe higher than 1.5 inches (4cm) as it has the unique support and cushioning required specifically for a high heeled shoe. The EB FLATS range is engineered with foot support suitable for footwear less than 4cm heel height. If you are wearing both heels and flats, we recommend both styles. Q: HOW LONG DO MY INSOLES LAST?

A: If you are wearing EB's regularly we expect them to last between three to six months. Over this time the footbeds are expected to show slight signs of wear including friction over the logo. The materials are delicate so will require gentle handling outside of the shoe. To ensure you always have the ultimate in cushioning and support, update your footbeds when they are showing signs of wear and tear. Please note, there is significantly more wear and tear on the footbeds when they are being constantly shifted from shoe to shoe so purchasing multiple pairs will improve their longevity.

Q: HOW MUCH SHOE SPACE DO THEY CONSUME?

A: The EB footbeds are a slim-line design both in width and depth. As a general rule, if your shoe is already very tight and bordering on pinching your foot, naturally the footbeds will not fit appropriately in that particular shoe. If your shoe is a comfortable fit, the footbeds should fit beautifully, making the shoe feel slightly tighter for the first week or so.
